The Town of Windsor intends to
prepare a Supplemental
Environ-mental Impact Report (SEIR)
to evaluate a storage facility for
recycled water located on a
Town-owned 168-acre parcel near the
intersection of Eastside Road and
Trenton-Healdsburg Road. A scoping
meeting to receive public input on
the scope of the SEIR will be held
on Wednesday, November 28, 2007, 6
pm at Town of Windsor Council
Chambers, 9291 Old Redwood Hwy.,
Windsor
The Scoping Meeting is an
opportunity for you to provide your
input about the project and what
should be studied in the SEIR. A PDF
copy of the
Notice of Preparation (NOP) is
available here.
Provide your input on the ERSP and
the scope of the SEIR. Written
scoping comments will be received
until December 6, 2007. Written
comments may be submitted to Craig

The purpose of the Eastside Road
Storage Project is to provide
additional recycled water storage to
meet current and future operational
requirements of the Town’s recycled
water system. Windsor’s wastewater
is highly treated to a tertiary
level, including ultraviolet
disinfection, and it meets
California Title 22 standards. New
storage facilities are needed to
balance seasonal irrigation demands
and limitations on seasonal releases
of recycled water to Mark West
Creek.
The Town has estimated that up to 375 million gallons of
new reclamation storage is needed at
the Eastside Road Storage Project
site, depending upon implementation
of other storage and discharge
options, for buildout of the Town’s
Water Reclamation Service Area.
Exploration of this Web site will
help you learn more about the steps
the Town is taking to meet these
needs. You can also get project
information by downloading the
Project Backgrounder
(pdf).
